ABOUT SARGAM
Sargam UBC is UBC's only Indian music band! We explore the art of Indian classical music by bringing elements of Carnatic and Hindustani music styles into various other styles of music ranging from Bollywood to popular english songs. What results is transformative, innovative fusion pieces that we perform at musical events and showcase at our big annual concert: Raagini.

SARGAM RAAGINI
Raagini is Sargam's annual concert and our biggest event of the year! Every spring, We showcase a range of musical styles, languages, genres, and talents by crafting innovative arrangements of songs and highlighting elements of Indian classical music. From April to December, Sargam takes on gigs at various events hosted by other organizations. We put together exciting sets with various genres of music!
